At the Feet of the Rabbi - a Hebraic Discipleship Seminar

At the Feet of the Rabbi - a Hebraic Discipleship Seminar

"Follow me"

Have you ever wondered why Jesus spoke these words so often and so freely, and why they didn't seem strange in the ears of those to whom he spoke? This seminar explores discipleship in its original first century Jewish context: what our Lord really meant when he spoke these words, what  it means to follow Him, with the goal of gaining a deeper understanding of how we can learn at the feet of the Great Rabbi Yeshua HaMashiach.

Sub-topics include:

  • A history of discipleship in ancient Judaism

  • The ancient Jewish model of discipleship as a backdrop to the New Testament

  • The unique nature of following Rabbi Yeshua (Jesus)

  • Discipleship and the Fatherhood of God

  • Hindrances to discipleship

  • The cost of discipleship

  • The "golden key" to discipleship

The seminar seeks to cover the above topics in-depth, including question-answer and breakout sessions.
